One of the biggest things that holds people back is the feeling that they should already know what they’re doing and feel confident in a gym or be in shape before they start.
You don’t! This is where you will learn those things ; you aren’t expected to already know what you’re doing.
If you’ve tried before and it didn’t work
If you’ve followed a gym plan or joined classes or tried to do it alone and still felt stuck or like you weren’t getting anywhere it’s not because you’ve failed:
It’s because those approaches weren’t built around you.
Most generic programmes don’t take into account, how your body moves, your confidence level, any previous injuries or limitations or what you actually enjoy doing and that’s where the difference is: I build your programme around you as an individual and we go at a pace that’s right for you.

A lot of people feel judged/self-conscious or unsure of what to do, which is not a sign of weakness — it’s just unfamiliar to you. And for many people, that’s enough to stop them ever getting started.
That’s exactly why I’ve created a different kind of training environment.
You won’t be thrown into a busy gym and expected to keep up with others or left guessing what to do. Instead, you’ll get a space that’s supportive, with time for you to build your confidence and clear guidance from me the whole time.

the gym
The gym is fully equipped with barbells, kettlebells, battleropes and more for a fun and effective workout!
The space is clean and quiet, away from the public with each training session consisting of just you as the client and me as your trainer, focusing on you and your health and wellbeing.
No feelings of anxiety or inadequacy, no waiting to use equipment, just a safe environment to be able to train without fear of judgement.
My motivation for founding Orchard Avenue Gym was to create a safe space, accessible to everyone to show them the benefits of being stronger and what it can do not only for your physical health, but also what it can do for your mental health. The sense of wellbeing that comes when you start to feel yourself getting fitter, stronger and healthier will cross over into every aspect of your daily life.
